ALS is not an incurable disease. It is an underfunded one.

The ALS Pepper Challenge, modeled after the infamous Ice Bucket Challenge, was created by the Haberstroh family in honor of their mom Patty, is sweeping the globe. Patty Haberstroh, who was diagnosed with ALS at the end of 2017, was a social worker for over a decade, and is a mother of four and grandmother of five. She has dedicated her life to helping others and now is calling on us to help her #EndALS. Now it’s your turn to take the #ALSPepperChallenge and donate today!

Andy Cohen, Kelly Clarkson, TMZ, Rachel Nichols and Paul Pierce, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, Sharon Osbourne, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Tyron Woodley, Jeff Mauro, Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer, Erik Spoelstra, Jim Rome, Demba Ba, Jimmy Kimmel and many more celebrities have participated in the challenge! To find more ALS Pepper Challenge videos, you can follow ALS TDI on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

The ALS Pepper Challenge has also been covered by People, The Daily Meal, Good Housekeeping, Blogger So Dear, nba.com, and eonline.
